Things have been very busy here at Gothic Charms. I’ve been stocking the store to the “gills” in preparation for two upcoming festivals and to get a jump start on the holiday shopping season – its right around the corner after all!
So what’s new? We have added a fantastic lineup of jewelry! This company makes absolutely wonderful HIGH QUALITY jewelry! This isn’t your typical “tin foil” silver jewelry folks! Thick sterling settings with gorgeous gemstones. My favorites are the amethyst gemstone earrings and a moonstone ring – but seriously, there’s so much to choose from!
I have about half of the products online at this point – I need to take pictures of jewelry but it’s very time consuming and right now I’m extremely limited in time. For those who haven’t stopped in the store recently, Bobby’s back is out again. He’s been laid up for a week now and not sure how long he’ll be “down and out” but at least he’s got some great pain killers. He hopes to be up and on his feet soon however. So my time is pretty limited with taking care of Bobby at the moment.
Oh, we have new cauldrons in the store as well as some new tapestries and sarongs, OH! and new incense as well! I hope to have these online soon as well. If you are interested, just email me and ask. I seem to be behind in everything these days!!

Wow, hard to believe that my last post was in December! Happy Belated New Year? LOL!!
What have we been up to?
Well, we’ve added a few new products to the store and are deciding at the moment what we are going to expand into this year. I know that we are picking up a new incense line – aside from that, we’ll see I guess.

This holiday season seemed to be more stressful than previous ones for some reason – not sure WHY exactly! I am glad that the holiday season is almost over and we can get back to life “normal” again – what ever normal IS anymore. LOL
Well, not really I guess, since we still have the new President to put into office – more insanity! 
I am looking towards the upcoming festival season, looking at the calendar and planning where to go and when. Once I have more information I will share it with everyone!
Well, that’s it for now I guess. Lot of things to get taken care of with month end, let alone YEAR end stuff. Tax season is right around the corner so I have to get receipts together, etc etc. LOL

Ok, now I grew up in the Midwest, so cold temps are what I was used to. USED to I say. LOL Here in Virginia we tend to have mild winters in the foothills. (We are almost in North Carolina.) So for it to get down to single digit temps, below 0 windchills? Time to go somewhere warm! Heck, our water line froze! Thankfully we have water in jugs, but still! Guess I’ve gotten adjusted to the southern weather and now it just sucks. I hope we get some snow soon at least – gives us a pretty reason to BE cold! Everything shuts down around here when it snows.
Well, I changed the graphics on the website over the weekend and so far everyone likes the changes I’ve made. I’m glad because I am really in love with this set. Have I mentioned that I now make graphics? I can’t remember. I have a website but there’s nothing much on it just yet. I have some sets made up, just trying to get more before I put them up for sale. www.goddess-designs.com is the website if you want to bookmark it.

My how time flies huh! Here we are, just a matter of days before the 25th. Happy Yule to everyone and Merry Christmas as well.
It’s been a busy week for me, more so than usual. So much to do and not enough time – that’s the name of the game it seems. At work this week I baked 4 batches of brownies, 12 dozen cookies, assembled 4 dozen gift bags and then put all the baked goodies into those bags as well. This took a few days to say the least! Then comes friday when they have to be delivered and passed out!
The party for work was fun and I was happy to give all these goodie bags out for the gentleman I take care of during the week. Everyone at his day program are so nice, warm and generous people. Every one of them has a “big heart” as my mom would say. It was very nice to be surrounded by so many happy faces right before I went to the dentist.
ICK – yeah, the much dreaded dentist. Took 1 x-ray and then took out my front tooth that had broken off. *sighs* Guess I will look into getting them all pulled and get some dentures. I tell ya, what hurt the worst was the numbing part – the numbing on the front side of the gums was painful but endurable. It was the roof of the mouth that was HORRENDOUS! That was some serious pain! But I dealt with it, whimpering all the way, and then I couldn’t even feel my nose, let alone my lips! So out came that tooth!
So now I am just chilling at home. Worked on the website today and changed the graphics. I like them a lot better and I hope you do too. Haven’t had any of the pain pills today yet – no pain. I like that. But we’ll see. I didn’t sleep much last night so I’m pretty groggy this afternoon. I need to clean my desk but I think I’m too tired at the moment to deal with it.

Starting my blog out today just playing around, trying to recooperate. From what? Well, I fell last night. Yeah, go figure. I was carrying in a stray cat that we were going to nurse back to health and my foot slipped off the stepping stone, ankle turned and down I went. Luckily for me the cat never even flinched, scratched, nada! Unluckily for me from the small of my back, hown my hip and now all the way down to my right ankle – every muscle is strained. *sighs* So I’m chilling at home today and working online. Such is life! 
Cats are settling in together for the moment. Two of my 3 cats aren’t paying the newcomer much attention. My youngest is freaked out by it all. Poor girl things she’s being replaced, so she’s getting extra loving now too from all of us.
I’ll post a pic of the new kitty when I get a chance to. She’s a very nice cat.
